Amy Folds M.Ed. CCC-SLP, CDT
Amy is a certified dyslexia therapist and a speech-language pathologist. She has worked with children with language-based learning disabilities, pre-literacy difficulties, expressive and receptive language disorders and other academic challenges for 10 years. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and her master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University. In addition, she has completed training in multisensory, direct-instruction reading programs including Orton-Gillingham, Fundations, Lindamood-Bell Phoneme Sequencing Program, and Visualizing and Verbalizing. Amy is also certified in the Wilson Reading System Levels 1 and 2 and holds the title of Certified Dyslexia Therapist through the International Dyslexia Association.
